The Scenographer Magazine to Publish a Monograph about Boris Yukhananov

The next issue of The Scenographer magazine, а leading European publication devoted to theatre and performing arts, will be devoted entirely to the work of Boris Yukhananov. It will be guest curated by John Freedman, who will write the lead article.

In anticipation of this event, please read some of the curator's advance comments: "Boris Yukhananov’s path has been anything but the usual story of a common career in theatre. ... Everything that happened between his student years in the 1980s and his present tenure as the head of the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre happened entirely on his own terms. ... Yukhananov continues to forge his own unique, often spectacular, artistic vision that conjoins drama, music, dance, design, installation and literature in a hybrid form of theatre for the 21st century."
