Opera: Browser is a cycle of seminars dedicated to the topic of directing in opera at the beginning of the 21st century. In each seminar opera and theatre critic Dmitry Renansky will analyze the most important opera performances of the 2000s-2010s, productions that became milestones of modern musical theatre and which represent different, often opposing, strategies of theatre working with an opera score.

Opera: Browser is also a wide panorama of the greatest directors of our time: from Peter Konwitschny to Yossi Wieler and Sergio Morabito, from Katie Mitchell, to William Kentridge and Romeo Castellucci.

Dmitry Renansky is a curator, theatre and music critic. The chief editor of the theatre section for the COLTA.RU internet portal, a regular contributor to Kommersant Publishing House and Vedomosti newspaper.
