Boris Yukhananov. "The Migration of Letters from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem"
An exhibit of Boris Yukhananov's "The Migration of Letters from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem" has opened at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre. The author of the photographs says he understands the art of photography not as reflection or documentation, but as acceptance and development: “I accepted this series of photos and this poem and developed them both in the summer of the same year. They became a single whole. "
The exhibit consists of 22 photos. They are connected with the 22 sacred letters of the Hebrew alphabet, and they refer the viewer to the wisdom of the Kabbalah. The text of Boris Yukhananov's poem The Nonsensories of Dreams is printed over the photos with the help of a special technique.
The exhibit may be viewed from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the foyer of the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre.
