Yury Kvyatkovsky

Yury Kvyatkovsky is a graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School. He teaches acting in the Dmitry Brusnikin Workshop (Moscow Art Theatre School), and is the founder of Le Cirque de Charles La Tannes. He was a nominee of the Golden Mask Award in the Breakthrough nomination; and a prize-winner at the Texture festival. He works with the aesthetics of contemporary circus, music and cinema (Cops on Fire), with reinterpretations of the classics (The Dollhouse at St. Petersburg’s Priyut Komedianta, with documents (This Is Me Too at Praktika), and with the quest format, as in Normansk at Meyerhold Center.
