Sasha Frolova
An artist who works in the field of sculpture and performance art. Graduated from the National Institute of Design at the Russian Union of Designers with a specialty in graphic design, and from the Institute of Contemporary Art Problems, majoring in new artistic strategies with a specialty in contemporary art.
She has exhibited in London at 291 Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, Riflemaker Gallery, and the Russian Winter Festival on Trafalgar square; in Hamburg at Kampnagel; in San Sebastian at the MID_E Festival; in France at the Vitra Design Museum; in Moscow at the Shchusev State Museum of Architecture, and the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art. She was a finalist in the Kandinsky Prize’s young artist project of the year nomination in 2009, and was a finalist for the ARTE LAGUNA 12.13 international prize in Venice in 2013. She won the Alternative Miss World competition founded by British artist Andrew Logan in London in 2014.
