Nina Firsova graduated from RUTI-GITIS (workshop of David Livnev) in 1995. She debuted on the stage of the Stanislavsky Drama Theatre as the Black Hen in the play of the same name (directed by Olga Velikanova). Over the subsequent years of her work at the theatre, she has performed the roles of Gertrude (Hamlet, directed by Dmitry Krymov), and the Goddess Lada (Martyrs of Love, directed by Tatyana Akhramkova), and others.
Originally educated as an engineer, Firsova was a regular participant in the Chelovek (Human) Theatre Studio under the leadership of Lyudmila Roshkovan, from its first years as an amateur venue until its foundation as a professional entity in 1990. In 1990-1991 she was a member of the Fifth Studio of the Moscow Art theatre under the direction of Roman Kozak.
Currently, in addition to acting, Nina Firsova is company manager at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre.

1994 First Prize at the Russian Theatre Union’s Festival of Children's Performances of Moscow and the Moscow Region for Best Actress (The Black Hen) in the play The Black Hen.
