Maria Grilikhes
Graduated from the Musical College of the Moscow Conservatory, and the Moscow Conservatory, majoring in choral conducting (class of Vladimir Sukhanov) in 2009. She studied symphonic conducting with Vladimir Ponkin. From 2007 to 2009 she directed the Vivus Fons boys' choir, with whom she recorded a CD of old music. Founded the Questa Musica ensemble n 2008 with Philipp Chizhevskiy.
As leader and choirmaster, she led the ensemble in performances of a number of major works at various concert venues. She was the Musical Director and Producer of Purcell's Dido and Aeneas (conducted by Philipp Chizhevskiy, directed and choreographed by Alisher Khasanov, 2011) and Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale (conducted by Philipp Chizhevskiy, choreographed by Oleg Glushkov).
Under her direction, the male part of Questa Musica ensemble performed in the final concert of the Schubert Festival at the Italian Primus Versus cultural center. In 2015,
Questa Musica participated in the performance of Drillalians, an opera at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre. In 2017 it performed in Galileo. Opera for Violin and Scientist at the opening of the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre's new Theater Yard.
