Lyudmila Mikhailva
Graduated from the conducting department and postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory.
Choirmaster of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center, the Saint Joseph Capella early music ensemble.
Laureate of Russian and international competitions, winner of the medal of the International Union of Musical Artists.
As a conductor, actress and singer, she has participated in the Cooperation, Archstoyanie, and Other Spaces festivals. She is a member of the jury of the All-Russian Running on the Waves competition. She collaborates with OpenSoundOrchestra, Collegium musicum, Kimatic, Chronos, Questa musica, MASM, N'Caged, Intrada, LaGol Voice Theatre, and Orpheus Radio Orchestra.
She has participated in the exhibit of Experimental music and art (2016), and in various master classes and training sessions. She has performed as a vocalist with Vladimir Yurovsky, Vladimir Martynov, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Mikhail Pletnyov, Valery Gergiev, and Teodor Currentzis.
She is the first performer of works by Rodion Shchedrin, Vladimir Martynov, Alexei Retinsky, Sergej Newsky, Dmitri Kourliandski, Alexey Sioumak, Vladimir Rannev, Boris Filanovsky and others.
She does voiceovers for films and musicals.
As a conductor-choirmaster, she has worked for the Sveshnikov Russian Choir, has conducted the women's choir of the Roerich Museum, and the Ars Viva Chamber Choir. She is employed at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center.
