Svetlana Barakovskaya
Studied conducting and choral art in the department of the Degtyaryov Musical College in Belgorod. Graduated from the conducting department of the Moscow Conservatory.
Participated in student tours to Poland with the Vladimir Kontaryov chamber choir; sang in the concert choir at the Church of the Immaculate Conception; sang in the Intrada ensemble.
Participated in the Russian Conservation project (recordings of rarely performed works by Georgy Sviridov and the premiere performance in Russia of the music of Czech composer Jan Dismas Zelenka).
Participated in the organization and performance of musical programs for children, writes scripts for musical fairy tales, records modern children's songs (with composer Yelena Orsa).
Performs as part of the Romancero duet; is a member of the Regional Moscow Philharmonic.
